Yibby End 2 End - Dir. Nick Isaksson

Firstly, we have officially welcomed Nick Isaksson to the Teel Team! Our new associate creative director brings a new energy and a fresh creative skillset to Teel (More on Nick to come). We’ve been working with Nick for a while but right before we signed the contracts Nick was finishing up a clip for Sydney rapper Yibby and we feel it shows off some of the creative genius Nick brings to the team.

Nick directed and shot the clip in Sydney on a mix of super 8 and digital and its fricken sick.

Here’s what Nick had to say about the project:

" I’ve been putting a fair bit of pressure on Yibby to work together since we met a few years back.
Occasionally we make music together and share a love for artists like Earl Sweatshirt and The Alchemist - artists inspired by a spectrum of not only old school hip hop, but jazz and film.
Those influences definitely informed the aesthetic touches for our project.
We couldn’t be more happier with the end result - a gritty love letter to Sydney. "
