We spent a week in WA chasing the light and shadowing our good mate Sam Tolhurst as he put the new Fujifilm GFX Eterna 55 through its paces.
It was a bit of a dream project, getting an exclusive first look at their flagship large-format cinema camera while Sam filmed legendary rider Sam Hill. Our mission for this global BTS piece was to capture the grit and the craft behind the lens, showing how the gear actually handles in the wild. Working closely with the crew on location and in post, we paired those striking West Australian visuals with a heavy focus on sound to show off exactly what this camera can do.
The result is a tactile, behind-the-scenes look at high-end filmmaking with the best people we know.
