We hit the streets of Sydney with Broadsheet and VW to document the intricate world of bespoke hat maker Nadia Valavanis.

Following Nadia from her studio at BSVII out into the city, we focused on the tactile nature of her craft and the philosophy that a hat is about much more than just steam and leather. It was a project rooted in storytelling, capturing how she translates a customer’s essence into a one-of-a-kind piece of wearable art. The final film is an intimate, cinematic look at a local creator who values patience and personality over everything else.
